Genuine and tasty traditional Greek cuisine. Good value for money: a 4 course meal splashed with Ouzo goes for 25 – 30 euro. Friendly staff. Recommended!

The portions are small, the place is also small and it gets really loud inside. The owner of the restaurant came to make us a problem cause we wanted to share a piece of cake for the b day of my sister ! This was the rudest behavior !! I would not recommend it to anyone and for sure I won’t go there again !!

When I’m in Amsterdam for work, this is definitely my best choice. I can easily have dinner four times a week in this restaurant and still feel satisfied. Very good food four an affordable price, which is very rare around here.

We tried Van ‘t Spit and it was too crowded again. But right across the street there is this place. They serve a really nice selection of small traditional Greek dishes. Depending on your appetite you order two or three dishes. Meats are nice, sauces are nice, wine is nice and well, everything is nice. I got the feeling they serve the food when it’s done. So you get the dishes over the course of half an hour. Which I like. You don’t need to hurry, nothing gets cold and you have plenty of time to eat, talk and drink. By the way, I’m still a bit in love with the waitress. Girl, you make me feel special. This place is a perfect example of why I like West so friggin’ much. There are all these cool and hipster restaurants that serve great food, but can be overcrowded. But there are always places like this, and De Twee Klaveren for example, that you can fall back on for a good time, just kick it back and have some great food.

Even though I am a very harsh critic, everything was great. On a scale of 1 – 5 Xoriatiki Salad– 4 Spinach Pie– 4 Bakaliaro– 4 Octopus– 4.5 With the service included I give the place 5 stars. Very nice waitress that spoke Greek fluently and excellent English as well.

In just a line … Reall good Greek food that will remind you of you moms cooking. and believe me greek moms are notorious for their cooking skills. Been a grrek myself i am not that excited to go to a restaurant that offers food that for sure i have tried before from my moms hands. But this time i was suprised although the menu is pretty much the basic geek food you would get in most restaurants everything is home made an in most cases with Greek products. Dont miss to try out the Ouzo(imported from an indipender producer in Greece) or if you not that much into the anise taste then try the Raki(ike ouzo without the anise). Make sure though to save some space for the deserts … Talking about sweet death been server in the plate To top a these the service is absolutely fantastic very friendly which makes the atmosphere all in all really friendly and relaxed. An absolute must go for the lovers of Greek food

Very delicious! I wish there were more non-pork items on their menu and some«lighter» food as I felt like I ate a brick and could barely bike home, but overall a nice meal for very reasonable prices.

OPPPPPPAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! I LOVE this place so much that it makes me want to scream and throw dishes around! You don’t eat meat?! I make you lamb!!! Ok, enough with Greek stereotypes. I went here with a greek dude and some other friends, and we went to TOWN. Like we stormed via Pegasus and devoured everything with our Zeus appetites until there was nothing left but olive branches. Why, you might ask?! Because the food here rocks my face off! First of all, this is not a typical restaurant. Look at the name! It’s an Ouzo place! You heard me, drink some ouzo, among other greek alcohols while snacking on delish food. So no main dishes or anything… just order a bunch of greek shizzle and enjoy! Even the pita was SUPER lekker and I’m not sure what they did to make it so good, but it was so crispy and flavorful that even the greek bread god was smiling from the sky! Luckily we came with a greek, so he was able to order awesome things, but if you aren’t as fortunate, here is what I recommend: Tzatziki — I mean… It’s a greek place so you must try this Tiri saganaki — I was happily drinking ouzo and munching on some pita when a plate that was on fire came to our table. It was some kind of greek cheese(not feta) on fire and the flavor was on fire as well. Don’t miss out on this one! Soutzoukakia — Yes, they are meatballs… but they are Greekballs that fo sho need to be in your mouths! Mousaks — MMMMMM, you like eggy plant? Tap some of this shizzle! As for drinks, don’t leave this place without drinking ouzo… I mean, it’s an ouzo-erie!!! One thing I didn’t see on the menu, but Stefanos in the other review recommended, is Rakomelo. Raki(strong liquor) + Meli(honey) = Rakomelo(sweet alcoholic explosion in your mouth) I had such an amazing time here with friends. And let’s be honest, I’m an alcoholic and got completely sloshed. So how much did I pay for all of this?! Like 30 euro! They must be charging Greek prices here… Anyway, my name in Greek is Dionysios(god of wine and orgies) and if I like it, it sure to please everyone else! IYIAMAAAAAASSSSS!!!

Visiting a Greek restaurant with another Unilocal member is like playing with the fire. Why? Because you know that you will have a lot of food and drinks and probably the next day you will hear weird noises coming from your stomach. Where should I start? From the Paidakia ?(Lamp Chops) sooo smooth and tasty, from the Tzatziki??? The Greek Salad? The feta in the Oven? Everything was well prepared and so tasty. The staff was super friendly and fast. Don’t forget to try the Rakomelo(traditional Greek drink — shots with Raki and honey). If we exclude the litres of ouzo and rakomelo tha we had, prices are reasonable. 25 – 30 Euro per Person
