If you love board games don’t miss the chance to visit. The shop stocks games in both Dutch and English, the staff are very knowledgable, and there are games for every age. They stock mostly board games but also cards, dice, game pieces and accessories.

This toy store specializes in board games, card games and fantasy games. They have all the accessories and paraphernalia needed to play your game. If you’re looking for a board game or card game they most likely have it here. It’s located in the Negen Straats and very easy to find amongst lots of other store fronts on Hartenstraat. The guy behind the counter though focused on whatever task he was doing looked like he belonged here as the owner and operator of this business. It’s a nice store to stroll through as there are so many games on display. Check it out if you’re looking for a specific game or are looking to pick another one.

Easy to find, but a little disappointed. As a fan of , I’m visiting board game stores everywhere. The shop has few new games. The Five Tribes was the only game published last year. And the price was too high as well.

So. Many. Board games! Gamekeeper reminds me somewhat of a Chinese grocery store: the narrow aisles and tall shelves are absolutely crammed full of goodies. And most of the packaging is in a language I can’t read. But I can look at the pretty pictures to figure out what they are… This smörgåsbord of nerdgasm-fulfilling products ranges from tradition puzzles to tactical collectible miniature games to brain-teasers. Everything from mancala to chess can be found here. Oh. And Magic: The Gathering cards. Lots of them. It made me itch for the deck or two I’m sure is stashed away somewhere in the parental units’ house. If I could stay put for longer than a year in any one flat, I’d stock an entire shelving unit full of the entertainments to be had from Gamekeeper. Sadly, I neither had space in my bags to carry anything home, nor the Dutch literacy skills to make use of it, even if I could.
