Soap Treatment Store

I needed to get a gel manicure soaked off while I was in Amsterdam and stumbled upon this place. While € 15 is really pricey for a soak off, the place was really nice and the staff was friendly. I was offered a beverage too.

Luck was on my side when I walked in without an appointment. After reading reviews, I was really excited to get my nails done. I had the hand basic with French tip. It’s perfect! I might go back for a pedicure if I am around that area. The girl was very friendly and did a thorough job.

What a gem of a place. After walking in, I was treated like royalty! I had a gel manicure and pedicure and I wasn’t expecting much after living in the states. However, she did such a great job!
The treatment itself was very thorough. She even waxed my toes! Their collection of gel colours is a bit limited, but I was still super happy with my burgundy toes and my red and gold fingers!
Make sure you leave enough time. This place is far from slap dash. They do a very thorough job. It really is a place you can take your time and relax. They offer complimentary tea, coffee and wine so I wouldn’t recommend going on your lunch hour!
All in all, I left feeling relaxed, pampered, glamorous and a little light headed (I went for the wine!) What a wonderful afternoon!

I’ve been to their Hague location several times; I recently made my first trip to their Amsterdam location. The facility is nice and clean and the staff was friendly. I had my brows waxed and although the treatment seemed super thorough, I was pretty shocked when I returned home to see that the girl who had waxed my brows had missed a pretty large area on one of my brows. For € 25 plus a tip, I do not expect to have to return home and do a bunch of tweezing on stuff that was missed :(I won’t be returning here for any more brow waxing.

I’ve been here twice and tomorrow, I will be officially checking in. I was recommended to visit by a fellow Unilocaler and since then, I have not looked back.
Having come all the way from Sydney, Australia — where getting a great pedi is easy and safe, here in Amsterdam? It’s harder to find. Even one of the other high end stores do not offer what these lovely ladies here at Soap offer. Quality products. Incredible service. AND Clean tools. When it comes to nail health– THIS, THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT.
I’ve been to two different locations, here at the Spuistraat (it’s local to my workplace so lunch-​time pedis are a go-​er) and also to the Van Baerlestraat. The Spuistraat store is so lovely, definitely worth a visit if you’re looking to treat yourself.
Make sure to BYO your own nail colour because the selection they have is limited unless you buy one in-​store. This is the only quibble I have, considering yes, you already pay a fair price, surely nail colours should be provided too? But never fear, nail polish addict that I am, I have plenty of my own!
Another bonus, Soap is open for about a gazillion hours in Amsterdam. Monday through to Sunday and working hours too, not the crappy 11 – 5 whereasonlyifyou’realadyofleisureyoucanmakeit!
Visit here. It’s worth it. Your nails are worth it.

Second time here and i so pleasantly surprised with how professional these people are… Products they use ate amazing… Mostly dermatologica… Waxing is simply very good and on the very plus side you have free wine or tea good thing when you want to spend some time defore or between you treatments… Extremely friendly staff
Oh and i dont wanna hear any complaints on the price… Youpay what you get if you wanna go cheap go to the Chinese ladies in the corner of you road… If you dare… I’m for sure good to become a permanent here

I recently had a very bad experience at a beauty salon, so I was very pleasantly surprised with the professionalism and care they give at the soap treatment store.
I scheduled a massage for myself, and the relaxation massage was great. The masseuse was very professional, thorough, and I was total putty in her hands.
Felt great afterwards, and will definitely be going again. Even sent my boyfriend last week :)

1. The facial massage is great!
It was incredibly relaxing the the music really set the mood. It is really a must do at Soap. You will leave feeling as if you are walking on a cloud. Only thing is, make sure you don’t plan to meet someone after because the oil they use gets in your hair from the wonderful scalp massage.
2. The rooms are outdated and a bit plain. It would be nicer if they were a big more designed.

Great waxing services. Pricey, but very thorough. Quick and professional Brazilians, brow and facial waxing. I’ve been to both van Baerlestraat and Spui locations. Both are equally good. Spui is open Sundays, which is a plus. Have tried other places, but haven’t found the same quality for bikini/​Brazilian services.
The mani-​pedicure services are a bit too expensive for what you get. But my nails did look lovely afterwards.
