Ok guys I am going to be really short on this one: GOTHERE! It’s really worth waiting in line here to get you some good old ice cream. Actually… I even think the row even gave an extra dimension to our ice cream, since my friend and I got in contact with two older people who were the sweetest ever. When it was our turn I chose yoghurt and coconut ice cream. It was creamy and soft and melting on my tongue. Licking and biking my way back to West. It was all the way yummy in my tummy!

The weather is getting warmer and the best way to celebrate that is by eating ice cream! What is interesting is that they sell sorbet, italian ice, gelato and ice cream. The differences between these is what they use as the base(cream versus milk versus ice). It doesn’t matter which flavor or type you get, you are in for a delicious treat. The yogurt flavor was amazingly tasty, tart and sweet. Pricing was a bit confusing but we paid € 1,50 for a single scoop. When the whether is warmer, I’m definitely going to have to come back for the massive 4 scoop ones!

How is it possible I’ve been around this circle about a million times in nearly three years and I never noticed this stand?! For someone who loves ice cream as much as I do I really should open my eyes more! Anyway, I had heard about Pisa so was happy to find it. They are open til midnight and it’s delicious. Need I say more? Would be nice if there were a few more places to sit outside but I won’t discount a star for this.

Intense flavors, and the ability to stack 4 – 8 flavors on a single cone. Definitely an ice cream innovation whose time has come! I got 3 flavors for 3.20, which is not too bad. Pro tip: the case is divided into 2 identical halves, so you don’t have to read aaaallll the flavors across the counter to see your selection, you only have to be able to read to the mid-way point of the counter. Or you can read the flavors on the signs right below the ceiling. :)

«Catching a cold» I scream, you scream, we all scream for gelato By the way, those doves hanging around sorta freak me. Saw/heard 1 sneezing one time. It was cute for a sec, but then kinda had me worried about the bird flu. Or maybe… You know how people think you can catch a cold from catching a cold. Maybe the bird got lucky and caught a cold, an ice cold ice cream.

The best is worth waiting in line for and traveling a distance to get to. Dessert is definitely way underrated. They have more than enough flavors to choose from. All of them are yummy of course. They’re also more than generous when scooping these delights into a coin or cup. You must eat somewhat fast as to insure none of these delicacies escape your lips. It would be a bad idea to have too many of these stands around. It would still be great but you wouldn’t appreciate it as much. I had five scoops just cause I could. I don’t lament being fat because I know I enjoyed every inch of the way. Be careful here I hear you can overdose on this stuff.

Definitely the BEST gelato in Amsterdam. Do not get discouraged by the queue on the street, they are fairly fast. Not cheap, but definitely the best. I go usually for classic strawberry and lemon … Fantastic, but also chocolate and lemon are great!!! You might get bonus sales buckets if you get there by end of the day(you can not keep ice-cream in the shop too long). As they sell a lot, product is always very fresh. Very kind and smiley people. Lot of kids all over all the time. Perfect to stop by if you are around by bike.
