This was an excellent dinner. My wife and me went for this place as it was close to our hotel. The service personnel was very attentive and super friendly.
We had both the Dutch pea soup as starter and the portion was more than in many other restaurants the main course. It had speck and bacon in it and was very delicious with a nice herbal touch.
For the main course we had the stark and again it was excellent. Order was medium rare and it was done perfectly. High quality meat and wonderful presented.

I visited New Dorrius with the IAmsterdam card a few weeks ago and it was the best food I have ever had on an average budget.
The restaurant is well kept and staff are more than attentive. Although we didn’t feel underdressed in smart casual clothing, you could really dress up for this chic venue should you wish to do so.
Before your meal we were presented with a gorgeous apéritif and a stunning selection of bread rolls. This was then followed by truly stunning, inexpensive food and great wine.
With a 25% discount, you definitely don’t want to miss out!

I would rate this place 3.5 stars. The restaurant is part of the Crowne Plaza hotel and has nice bathrooms. Most of the customers appeared to be tourists. While pricey, it was more formal than a pub. I ordered the 3 course prix fixe menu for 30E. It came with a red fish entrée that was very tender but a little salty. The parade of sweets dessert was small but good. The service overall was good. They took our order and served our appetizers promptly. As the night progressed, the service slowed down to Amsterdam norms.
