Manhattan Lounge-Bar

The Manhattan Lounge is conveniently located in the ground floor of the Crowne Plaza Amsterdam South hotel. It is a trendy yet inviting bar that not only serves refreshing drinks but also has a full menu of food. After a long day, I came in to grab a quick bite and a cold drink to refresh and restore my senses.
I decided to go with the club Manhattan since I wanted something fast yet tasty. This sandwich was huge!!! It has chicken, bacon, tomato, iceberg lettuce, and is topped with a fried egg. It boasts a creamy house sauce called the Manhattan sauce, which is rich and spicy all at once. The sandwich is served with a side of fries. The chicken had hints of curry giving the sandwich a welcoming bold and robust taste. The fries were crispy and golden to perfection. I was pleasantly surprised with the complexity of this sandwich meant to be basic.
I accompanied my sandwich with what else, but a Manhattan. It was a little too dry for my taste given the vermouth to whiskey ratio. The second round they tweaked it just a tad to my taste and I was good to go! The service was impeccable and only enhanced the experience.
