Magnum Experience Pop-up store

Judging by other photos, this looks to be the same Magnum store we went to. I hope?
We first encountered Magnum ice cream last year in Budapest and Loved it!
After dinner at a steak house, we wandered to this fantastic spot. We were lucky as they were about to close!
The ice cream is great, the guy helping us was fun and fantastic, and you really get to create the bar you want.
(For me, that mainly meant caramel. For my hubby, it meant a drizzle of white chocolate and purple flowers…)
He complained that I, «ate more of the ice cream bar than normal.» — Well duh! It’s vanilla coated in chocolate with CARAMEL!
A fun experience and really good ice cream — what’s not to love?

The Magnum Experience pleasure store is a pop-​up shop that has opened about 1,5 week ago. It will stay at its Amsterdam location for about another 10 weeks. If you like Magnum you will probably really like this place! I am not the biggest fan of Magnum but I still wanted to try this.
At this place you can actually create your own Magnum. You will choose the chocolate and they will dip your plain ice-​cream into the melted chocolate of your choice. Then you can choose 3 toppings for your Magnum. There are many options to choose from like dried fruits, cookie crumbles, meringue pieces, even dried flowers and much more. They will decorate your Magnum with a bit extra chocolate sauce of your choice, then make a picture of it which they will post on their website with your name and you’re done! Enjoy your own personal Magnum!
I really liked to do this. I decorated my Magnum with dried raspberries, dried flowers and meringue pieces. It tasted okay, nothing to write home about but not bad either. Just like a Magnum with a twist. The flowers were a bit dry haha, but I could have expected that by looking at them while I choose my toppings.
Well, I think this is certainly a fun place to try out! It is really an experience. The staff is also very friendly, helpful and excited. And the shop is just lovely. Very nice decorations. In the back there are even a few Fatboys to chill on.
