Excellent food but…
The waitress gave me a room temperature beer. When I informed her it was warm and she basically didn’t care. She was not willing to return it. Instead she offered me ice.. Very dissappointing. #cheap

Everything was very tasty. Small clean and cosy restaurant with quite reasonable pricing! They have kitchen open after 10pm. We had a dinner till 11:30pm. Saved the place and recommend to others!

Yay Nepalese food!
Similar to Indian fair, the dishes are combinations of vegetarian or meat curries. I ordered lamb ‘bucket’ and my friend got one of the special platters at the end of the menu. I was jealous of his dish since he had lots of little things to sample.
Free papadum. Great lassis. and good service. Also located in the beautiful Jordaan — I’d go again!

Visited this restaurant with the hubs during a 5-​day stay in A-​dam in May 2014. We came in fairly late for a weeknight, around 8:30PM, so there weren’t many people left dining. That worried me a bit, but my worries were for nothing, because the food and service were great. We had the dumplings and some kind of curry, I forgot what kind, but whatever it was, it was delicious. The food was well seasoned, beautifully presented, and served in generous portions. In fact, we had a hard time finishing everything that came w/​our two entrees. The service was quick and friendly. The interior of the restaurant was cozy and comfortable. Our meal was reasonably priced and, given the hearty portion sizes, a great value. We were really happy we tried out this restaurant and would recommend it to anyone staying the Jordaan area or visiting the 9 Streets shopping zone.

Walked by the restaurant last night and looked up other reviews on line. All favorable. Tried it tonight, my last night in Amsterdam before heading home to California, USA.
The very best Indian food I’ve eaten anywhere. Generous portions, very personable staff and the place is super clean and has a pleasant décor. The waitress told me they are less than a year in business and I hope they make it because they deserve it. If I lived in Amsterdam it would be a place I would eat at or do take out often.

This is a lovely new restaurant opened by a Nepalese family who clearly has a love and a passion for their country’s cuisine.
The waitstaff is wonderful — we were waited on by the chef’s sister, from Nepal!
The curries and other dishes are delicious — there is a lot of depth in the flavors of the sauces and marinades.
I had a beautiful ginger tea to complete my meal.
We have now eaten there several times and have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
