On my way back home from Amsterdam Pride 2015 I walked by JuiceBrothers, and just had to go inside to check it out.
The space is small but very well decorated, and even though the city was bustling with people the fridge was full of fresh juices. The day was very hot, so the Gingerade seemed like a refreshing option: alkaline water, honey, lemon, lime, ginger, and himalayan salt. It truly was! I loved the combination of the citrus with ginger, and the little hint of salt… yum! The Japanese have a word for that unexplainable taste, that’s not really just salty: umami.
Can’t wait to go back to the store and try a couple more juices, there are a lot of healthy options, and even some detox combinations (I also felt like trying those, maybe eventually).
