Great people, healthy & good food and fresh juices. This is the place to go for lunch when you work on Amstelplein!

Shortly after I stepped out of the plane, ready to stay for a while, I heard about a place with the vocal name «eetlicht» (eat light — the logo hints a double meaning). What a promise! BUT quite a bit out of the center.
The facts that I quickly got a bike and my sphere of influence was clearly bigger in summer made me pass through a business area in the south some days later. Suddenly I noticed the logo and I realized this was it. Employees from all around De Omval are standing in line and I know why.
If you’re fed up with broodjes you’ll start to love them again. The ones in eetlicht are tasty and made with slices from fresh walnut bread that deserves its name. Or choose from the weekly changing lunch and dinner menu with home-​made soups, fresh salads and much more. Match them with one of the mouth-​watering fruit juices and you’ll be happy like Pharell.
The fresh, delicious organic take-​away food is absolutely worth the hole in the wallet. You’ll soon forget about the money anyway because you’ll be sitting by the Amstel, dipping your feet while enjoying the food. (OK, this was in summer 2013. The most time of the year you’ll probably order it online and have it delivered to your warm and cozy place.)
