Selamat Makan! Nice Indonesian food on the menu. Not expensive and great friendly service! It is a small restaurant, but they have the quite a menu of the usual Indo food fare you’d expect. Some nice unusual drinks made from seaweed and obviously the Bentang beer. Well worth a visit

Unfortunately this was our first go at trying indonesian food-and we were really dissapointed. Food really all tasted the same(pretty bland wirh some lemongrass and peanut), took a long time to get, the portions were small and overpriced. The restaurant itself is in poor condition. the only saving grace was a friendly server. Thats it.

Good Indonesian food at very reasonable prices, great for takeout. My favorite combo: bami goreng speciaal, gado gado(cold) an as much sateh babi as you can justify ordering.

The food was okay, but the really mean lady really ruined our experience here. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Padi was closed for holiday when I arrived in Amsterdam so I was excited to see that they had reopened. This was my first time eating Indonesian food and I was really disappointed. I started with an appetizer that was meat wrapped in rice paper and fried(at least I think it was fried), bland and tasted slightly like cardboard. My entrée was ok but nothing to write home about. I’ve since learned that I really don’t like Indonesian food very much but even taking that into account, Padi could defnitely do alot better.
