As a Friday after-work treat, my hubby and I met up here to have some fries and ice cream for dessert. That’s the way Fridays work, right? There was only one person in line and they seemed to be having a long chat. When that was over we waited and waited to be noticed. But apparently they were quite behind on handing out the fries. Once the first 5 people who were hanging around(but not in line since they had already ordered) got their fries, the man working helped us. He was very nice, but it took a long time to get fries and they seemed a bit over-done. Not too much, they were a bit more brown than golden brown if you know what I mean. Once we finished our fries, we headed next door for some ice cream. I couldn’t believe there was no line in there! It was a great day for ice cream. The woman behind the counter was very nice and described some of the flavors. You can even get a taste of some if you need help deciding. There are so many flavors that you might want a little bit of help. From cookie, to regular to fruit flavors, there is definitely something for everyone! We’ll definitely be back for the ice cream, probably not for the fries. 3 stars for the fries, 4 starts for the ice cream

Although I haven’t tried ice-cream yet. On a hot summer day thewaiting line for their Vlaamsche Frieten(Belgian Fries) triggered my interest. Today, also a hot summer day but not that busy, I tried their fries for the first time. They were super crispy, not to oily and nice and hot from the fryer(not that hot so that I burned my fingers). They’re variations in toppings are also great! But i’ll definitly go for the peanut sauce again(which is home made). I did read a bad review about there ice-cream but I geuss it doesn’t really matter with fries that good! They don’t do other snacks though. So no frikandel, broodje kroket, etc.
