We stopped by here on the way back from Schiphol because I was starving. Saw 4 stars on Unilocal so decided to check it out. What a pleasant surprise! So satisfying and tasty.
The portions here are huge! I walked in super hungry, ordered the carpaccio and a salad and walked out stuffed. The carpaccio was great, definitely more like a salad with a large centerpiece of lettuce, plenty of pine nuts and yummy other additions that added to the flavor without distracting from the lovely pieces of raw steak that covered the bottom of the plate. The salad that I ordered for my entrée was piled with Roquefort, pears and walnuts. The normal dressing is made with eggs so couldn’t have that but the chef whipped up a lemony dressing. So nice especially since I said I was ok with them giving me oil and vinegar to put on top.
This isn’t fine dining but it was really dining just right.
