Another great craft beer bar. Amsterdam is blessed with lots places doing great craft beer and this is yet another one. It fits the normal beer bar layout. Wooden tables and finishing, black chalkboard, 40 taps and a pleasant bar man who is knowledgable about beer. This is a good place for a pint and there will be options to fit whatever taste you have. I got a lovely IPA recommended to me and really enjoyed it.
It’s quite far out the centre, but that’s actually a good thing and it’s worth the walk. If you like craft beer and find yourself in Amsterdam you should make the effort to visit craft & draft.

A cool place with a lot of nice beer. The people that work here know there stuff about beer and can help you if needed. There are a lot of tables outside to sit and enjoy your beer. They have about 40 on tap and you can even get Growlers here.

Wow! I really enjoyed this place. The selection of international craft beer is huge! And if you like something — why don’t you buy a bottle home! Swedish, American, Norwegian.
If you are in the Netherlands for Dutch beer or for mainstream, there may be better pubs or proeflokaalen for you, but if you are in it for great beer you can’t find everywhere — go here. Do a mini crawl — Craft & Draft and Gollem Proeflokaal some blocks away on the same street. Take the tram.
Share tables outdoors with strangers.
If you are hungry — keep looking. The serve cheese and sausages only. Uncooked «raw» sausages. Some are pretty decent, but if you are not used to raw dogs, well, you may skip them.

My hubby saw an ad for the grand opening of this place in the restroom for Proeflokaal Arendsnest and we decided we had to go during our time in Amsterdam. Who says bathroom advertising doesn’t work? We made the pretty long trek outside the canal rings to Craft and Draft, and were not disappointed at all with the selection. They seemed to concentrate their tap list on beers from Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, and Spain, but there were also a few great American beers (like Anderson Valley Boondt Amber) and beers from other areas of the world. The one thing I would say they could improve upon is that the beer list on the wall in both spots is a little hard to read, especially at night when there is a glare from the lights. They should consider printing out a daily tap list so people can see it more easily. The bartenders were friendly and willing to give samples. Overall this is a great addition to the beer scene in Amsterdam.
