Great little find for anyone craving a delicious grilled cheese! The cute downstairs deli is complimented by a cozy upstairs eating area. We ordered the grilled cheese after spying it in the window, and it was completely amazing!

Brilliant little delicatessen in the neighborhood — They have the best cheeses in town — pretty good selection and there is always friendly & ready help with choices. Pretty good selection of crackers to go along as well.
You have to get in early in the store over weekends if you want to get some amazing burrata. I also usually pick smoked salmon, boquerones as starters are parties from here or just for myself :) The quantities for both the occasions are almost the same. coz its so delicious.
Other things to look out for here are of course fresh produce like basil, cherry tomatoes and beautiful large garlic heads. I also sometimes pick bread from here — nice homemade taste.
If you like artisan, original products then you will love this place. I could spend hours just looking around and picking little interesting sweet & savory food trinkets…

My favourite delicatessen shop in Amsterdam. The owner, Maarten, sells only what he likes himself and his taste is impeccable. Great selection of under € 10 wine as well as bottles ranging into the high end. Large selection of meats and cheeses including many of the best small producer cheeses of the Netherlands. Maarten also sells ready-​made meals cooked fresh on the premises. On Saturday you can often enjoy a selection of his foods as a light lunch.
