Saint Louis, MO
De Kroeg is my go-​to spot here in Leiden. Sure, it helps that it is only a hop, skip, and a jump from my dorms. But there is much more to be said about de Kroeg than that!
All of the staff here is terrific, and only laughs a little at my pitiful attempts at Dutch. The prices are great, there’s always a good crowd, and there’s pool in the basement to boot.
Can’t ask for more than that.
