This place is usually packed, but thanks to the rain that night, we were able to sneak into a table inside. Both dishes were exceptional (I had a properly cooked rare steak, my fiancée had vegetarian lasagna), and the service was quite friendly as well (the server even indulged me while I practiced some embarrassingly bad Dutch).

It’s hard not to love the location of any pub/​café/​restaurant in Amsterdam and this one was no exception.
On a rarely sunny Amsterdam afternoon, we wanted to rest and get a couple of beers after spending a loooong looong time waiting to get inside the van Gogh Museum and also spending beautifully long amount of time inside the museum.
They have a nice plate of fried food if you also want some snacks to go along with your beers. The people working here is also very nice, had to note that before I finish this view:))

Happened upon here the first day in Amsterdam! It has a welcoming, cozy atmosphere. Nice candle lit ambience and soft music playing. Could be a good first date restaurant.
The waiter was charming and helpful.
The Turkish bread with aioli is a great starter, and I finished with the beef burger. Excellently cooked and seasoned. The fries were super hot and fresh!
Would definitely go back!

Great terrace, as noted in previous reviews.
It is a perfect place for a beer and some bitterballen or other snacks after work or on a weekend afternoon.
I have had just snacks here and the last time the hamburger and fries. The burger and fries were tasty and hit the spot. Nothing spectacular, but still nice.
But, really, the terrace is the reason to stop by Binnen Buiten. You catch the sun as it is setting in the afternoon and being along the canal is a bonus. Plus the people watching is great too as it is near Albert Cuypstraat as well.
I’m sure I’ll be back often as the summer winds down!

Decent latte and americano — no complaints.
Breakfast — croissant, ham&cheese, scrambled eggs and toast
— croissant: just slightly over-​baked but still nice and crispy on the outside and gooey with many layers inside — better than some Parisian croissants but also worse than many. Overall, agreeable
— eggs fluffy and creamy — nothing special
— everything else was average but I’m satiated and contented
