Perfect café to have right next to your house. I’ve seen a lot of the reviews take off points cause the place is not cozy or has any atmosphere. To be honest that’s what I like in this place. When I walk in here I get exactly what I am looking for– I walk in with my laptop, head phones and work to do. This place provide the rest. They have really good coffee, good prices and great breakfast snacks. As to the atmosphere. When I wanna work I am not looking for cozy or small, I am looking for a big space that I won’t feel bad if I stay for an hour, good coffee, and something to nibble on. I get it all here. I also get coffee to go here a lot of times. The sandwiches are not so great to be honest– bread is not so nice and sliced waaaaay too thick. Great place for good coffee and working space.

Depresso, the feeling you get when you run out of coffee. I’ve had a couple of them, lousy way to start your morning. But no more! Since Monday July 13th BoLo(Bos en Lommer) has yet another Buongiorno espresso bar. After a long wait they are now open for business. Nothing fancy, not a lot of seats either, so not sure why they deprived me from a cuppa for so long. Bygones Buongiorno, you’re finally here, so thanks for being around my corner. With your free WiFi(not on the terrace btw) and your rocket fuel(nice espresso macchiato, tyvm!) Your enthusiastic staff and your terrace on the sunny side AND on the shadow side, both equally pleasant. I think — no I KNOW i’ll be a regular happy camper here. No depressos for me, no more.

Love the coffee and nice people. Fresh juice. Cozy setting with plenty places to sit. The coffee is quality. Prices are decent.

Está bien para pillarse un café y llevártelo, no tiene casi sitio para sentarse agusto. Los precios no están mal y el dependiente ha sido amable.

Absolutely great cortado. If you are from US, try this new variety of espresso+little milk. Loved it. Less stronger or botter than espresso but but much better than latte.

We moved to De Baarsjes about 6 months ago, and finally had a chance to stop in to Buon Giorno Bar this morning. It has a modern feel to it, with indoor and outdoor seating, and a full service espresso bar, plus extras for those who are more juice or tea drinkers. Fancy something to snack on? They’ve got croissants and cakes and other goodies for dunking and noshing while sipping. A little too modern and not cozy enough for me, but they serves a good cappuccino and their early bird special of a coffee, juice + croissant for 5 euro is great deal.

This place is a modern and spacious coffee shop in an area where there are not many tourists. I rented a flat in this area a few years ago and always try to get over to this relaxing section of Amsterdam when I am in the city. The service here is wonderful, and the staff are very friendly and offer good suggestions. They have a small selection of food and some juices as well. There is a large patio right on the street so on a sunny day you can surf or chill out on a spacious patio away from all the insanity of the center of town. The side street is pretty darned cute by the way — lots of cute little houses. This is a great place to study or work since they have a password wifi system that is not time limited and the signal is very good. Nice place to chill out in Amsterdam.

I’m always on the lookout for cozy cafes where I can get a good coffee, a fresh chocolade croissant, a strong wifi signal, and a comfortable chair. It is an added bonus when there are outlets to plug my computer into, it is not too loud but busy enough to keep the energy high, and prices are good. I found that today! My intern suggested we meet at this café since it is in my neighborhood and they have free wifi. I must say, their large cappuccinos are the best! We were there from 9:30am until about 3pm so had lunch as well. Their sandwiches are made on lovely fresh bread with great ingredients and their fresh orange juice is a nice treat. The décor is modern yet comfortable, lots of seating with table and chairs or couches and smaller tables. Lots of natural light as well. I will definitely be back here, not only because it is close to home, but because if you ‘work from home’ this really is an ideal place to work! Be warned, if you are there on Tuesdays around 11am it seems like the popular time to bring your small child/toddler(maybe it is a nieghborhood meetup?) so it got a bit loud, but all the kids and their parents left after an hour or so… no big deal! Great place all around!
