Boba were soggy and fell apart, they didn’t have that«crisp» taste that proper boba should have. Fast and friendly service. Free wifi. A good break from walking around — located between Red Light District and Amsterdam’s Chinatown.

This place has awesome boba! I always get the passion fruit milk tea with boba and it’s delicious. If you have the option of going here instead of yo yo tea, go here, quality of the milk tea is better. The guy who is always working when I go is also super friendly!

Came here for a quick bubble tea fix and got the taro coconut bubble tea — it was good. It seemed like they had a fairly large selection of HK style sponge cakes and pastries, but by the time I got there a lot of it was sold out since it was late in the day. Will definitely got back and try those next time!

Quite a relexing place in Chinatown, the center of amsterdam. Like their photowall XD and modern decorations. Most importantly, the drinks are yummy. I had coconut milk tea with tarco, mild and tasty. The pandan Swiss roll is also nice. I notice that they have a piano standing in the shop, are there any live piano show now and then? That should be nice combination with some sweet bubble tea and cakes in a lazy afternoon. :)

«What’s bubble tea?!?» A question frequently posed when I suggest to stop for a nice refreshing Asian flavored drink during a sunny Amsterdam weekend of shopping. So what is my response? «Asian flavored shake with fish eyeballs you can suck with an oversized straw» Unexplainably, that response turns people off… so luckily at Bubbow, there are Chinese pastries!(I call them chastries) «What are Chinese pastries!!!» The next question frequently posed to divert attention away from the fish eyeball concoction. Hmmm… think of a bunch of pastries. But instead of creams and fruits, they are stuffed with the following: — lotus seed paste — black sesame paste — hotdogs(kind of) — sweet Chinese BBQ pork — red bean paste — meat floss(dry shredded thin threads of meat)
Also there are green tea roll cakes, egg tarts, and other goodies I can only best describe as «asian stuff». If you’ve ever been to China or Hong Kong, you’ll recognize this place as one of the million Chinese bakeries you see every where you go. Although I do love me some chastries, the selection here isn’t that large and the space inside is kind of dark, stale and plastic. If I were to recommend something, I would go for the sweet chinese BBQ pork pastry, black sesame pastry and a small cup of taro flavor fish eyeball tea!!!

I saw the bubble tea sign, but ventured in when I saw my favorite BBQ pork puff pastry behind the counter window. Make sure to just get the one that’s shaped like a dumpling and not the roll, it’s more flavorful. The servers were efficient and helpful, and it’s easy to say if you speak Chinese, your order will go a lot smoother. They offer other sponge cakes like green tea and red bean, also other flavors too.

It was hard to order but it’s alright. The boba splashes before you even get a chance to suck your straw.

This small bubble tea shop carries bubbles tea and Chinese baked goods. I had the taro tea with lychee jelly. The tea was sweet while the lychee jelly had a mild tartness to it. Overall this was an inexpensive and refreshing treat that gave me the energy to continue sightseeing.
