Bocca

Desde que hace unos años me entrase LA FIEBRE DEL CAFÉ, que empecé a preocuparme por el café que bebía y consumía constantemente, la verdad es que en todas las ciudades que visito, siempre trato de encontrar buen café.
El de Ámsterdam, sin lugar a dudas, está aquí. Diría que hay otras cafeterías con un café muy rico, y otras con un café un poco más barato, pero la verdad es que el de Bocca es impresionante. Salimos de comer en un restaurante cercano, yo necesitaba un café más que el comer, y recalamos aquí, que estaba muy cerca.
Lo pedí para llevar y la verdad es que aluciné con lo riquísimo que estaba. Espectacular. Si sufrís como yo por encontrar buen café, no os perdáis esto.

Very good coffee at a good price! A cappuccino for only 2,5 eur, which is almost 1 eur less as I usually pay in Amsterdam. The venue is open and nice, the service quite fast, will surely return for a good dosage of caffeine.

Calm and spacious specialty coffee place, near the busy touristic areas. Gets in top of the best quality coffee in town. Simple design, friendly service and excellent coffee. Will defintely go back.

Easily the best coffee spot in Amsterdam. Super friendly staff, great African coffee, and a gorgeous space. They have a really unique menu too (coffee tonic, cascara soda, etc…). Jaap was our barista and he really killed it. Spent 15 minutes with us talking about stuff to do in the city and gave us great recommendations (Scandinavian Embassy and The Butcher).
I was super impressed with Jaap’s skill and I was also surprised that they test all pour over coffee with a refractometer before serving. Very very good with their technique and care for the customer experience. If you drink any coffee in the city, make sure it happens here.

Now, here’s a place where coffee is loved.
The baristas slave over your coffee with complete admiration for the grounds they are providing. They look you in the eye, take you by the hand, and guide you through a sensory experience that is unmatched by any coffee shop that has ever existed.
The ambience is so calm that you will reach a point self-​actualization, and never come down from this spiritual high. Every song that drifts through the large, warmly lit space will be your new favorite. Every sip feels like coming home.
If you visit Amsterdam, and do your cruel disservice of not coming here, I will personally never drink coffee again.
Plus the baristas are real hot.

I was only in Amsterdam for a couple days but ended up going to Bocca 3 times.
The filter coffee is ridiculously good and made with a lot of love by very kind baristas.
They don’t really do to-​go, so take your time and watch them make your coffee and then sit for a while, it’s easy to get super comfy and lose track of time and I recommend it.

This place is hands-​down the coffee aficionado’s spot in Central Amsterdam. The barista was passionate, knowledgable, and friendly and created a wonderful cup of coffee for my wife and me. Also, the interior design is deliciously modern Dutch and they have wonderful coffee-​making accessories in case you or someone you know needs a cool new coffee toy. Highly recommended!

Super lovely ambiance and even though the coffee is top notch I didn’t get the slightest bit of snobbishness or attitude from any of the baristas behind the counter. Instead we got really great coffee bar service, patient explanations, and good humour from everyone.
The space itself is bright and gorgeous. We’d been looking for good coffee all over this area and finally found it at Bocca.
