Not that I want everyone to know about one of top four antique jewelry stores in the world, but Binenbaum is fantastic. We make a special trip to shop here every few years.

I went to Amsterdam a month ago and fell in love with a necklace. When I was at the shop, the service was wonderful, knowledgable, and helpful. I tried on many beautiful rings with shiny gems and diamonds. They were in wonderful condition and I really wanted everything I tried on. The prices are reasonable for that type of antique jewelry in such pristine condition. I meant to go back for the necklace before we came back to the States, but ran out of time. I emailed the shop when I got home and told them how much I regretted not purchasing the necklace. They made it so easy to buy via email. I just got my art nouveau gold necklace today and I LOVE it. I am so happy!!!

I don’t know much about jewelry. It’s as perplexing as it is sparkly. Persparkling? Either way, I don’t confess to knowing very much about carats and cuts and things. But I know about service. This place has that. Loads of it. Binenbaum is the place where I bought my fiancée’s ring. They made the process wonderful. Like I was truly buying a small lump of love instead of a ring. Does that sound as corny as I suspect it does? That’s okay. They have loads of old, antique pieces that they will chat to you about in a very friendly way. It’s not a big shop, so you may pass it by altogether, but I’d encourage you to enter and meet the peeps. Knowledgeable, nice and not-at-all pushy.
