I went in here just out of curiosity a while ago. The facilities is clean and sanitary, which is a plus in my book. It’s always a pleasure when you can find a sterile bathroom. The worst feeling is being in the center of Amsterdam and not being able to locate a restroom to tingle. I think it’s great that they made it convient for shoppers to have a toilet available for them and decided to profit out of it. One of my first biggest challenges in Amsterdam was finding a bathroom when I was shopping in the center. It’s nice to know that some entreprenur decided to resolve that issue. However, I don’t agree with the general policy in Europe of charging people to use the restroom, unless you happen to be in a pub or restaurant, then you can avoid that annoying experince. My personal feeling is that toilets should be free and it should be by option to leave a courtesy tip for cleaners. Shouldn’t that fall under the lines of a natural human right? I wonder what do the homeless do if they can’t come up with some change or money for the toilet? Oh never mind, lets not think about that one. I think it’s disturbing just in general that one would have to pay to use the toilet, but if that is how the system works, then why not make a business out of it.
