On a day trip to Alkmaar we wandered around the area where the Cheese Market is held. It’s a busy day in a not-​so-​big town, so we were bound to find this gem! It’s a great snack just before or just after a meal… but I’m a big fan of snacking anyway!
We have our favorite fry place in Amsterdam and my husband said that these were even better than that one, and that is our go-​to spot! These were really good with friendly service with a smile. These fries are double fried (which is the only way for proper fries!), so you get a soft inside and crispy outside.
These fries are the kind that you take a bite and are surprised at how good a fry can be! Very reasonably priced too. Don’t forget to try a traditional sauce if you haven’t before!
