The Jamaican Grill brand of restaurants is definitely the best places to get BBQ on Guam. The portions are huge and the food is always consistent. If your eating in a group the best value would be the family platters which comes with ribs chicken salad soup and rice. Get extra finadene and gravy for the extra experience. Service will probably the only thing that needs to be improved but other than that it’s definitely the place for tourists to get great BBQ.

I know this place is cheesy, but it’s a mandatory stop in whenever I come to GU. The walls are slathered in Rastafari-Jamaican themed décor and silly catch phrases, but you can’t argue with great food and great service. This restaurant is located in the Tumon Bay Beach Strip among all the other hot tourist spots. They also have locations in Chamorro Village and Dededo, but this one in particular has a great layout and atmosphere. The facility is spacious and has indoor and outdoor seating and it’s not kept too cold inside. It can definitely accommodate larger groups if planned ahead. The service is friendly and quick, and they also have free secure wifi. The food itself is a fusion of Chamorro and Jamaican jerk-seasoned meats and rices with really fresh veggies and fruits. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend trying a combo so you get all the good flavors, but my honest favorite is the parrot fish or daily catch steamed in coconut milk. The beef patties are really good as well, but heavier on the curry than you get in some Jamaican restaurants in the states.
