Hôtel Restaurant Maria-Christina

Beautiful hotel on amazing location on the river. Walking distance to just about everything. They were awesome in recommending and setting up everything from sightseeing to food. I became I’ll during our vacation and the hotel even sent someone out to get me chicken broth and Aquarius as they did not have any but wanted to help provide what ever we needed. The Asian restaurant is fantastic… I highly recommend it for at least 1 meal. Breakfast was consistent and convenient and good. Amazing views from our suite and staff that was always kind and helpful. I feel in love with San Sebastián and I’m sure the high end luxury of this hotel had a lot to do with it. I will not stay anywhere else when we return. 5 stars. Amazing.

We stayed here for three nights in September. The Hotel is gorgeous, very high end. The bed and linens were amazingly luxurious! I used my Amex platinum card for the extra benefits. The concierge at the hotel provided very useful information. The location was great and right in town. I would give this hotel a 5 but there are some draw backs. There is no pool and spa. This is really missing. Also, for a town that both boasts and lives up to it’s fine culinary talents, the hotel food was not impressive to me.

Stellar hotel!!! Right in the heart of Donostia/​San Sebastian… Near all the amazing tapas places and markets :) The lobby full of marble, very historical. The staff, unlike anything you’d think to get after days in France. Impeccable service. A definite stay!

This is the finest hotel in San Sebastian. All the amenities, contains a great restaurant, and its located right on the river that separates Gros from El Centro.
The name, obviously, is indicative of the fact that the Royal Family stays here when they visit beautiful Donostia.
