We were wandering around the city looking for a place to eat after a visit to the st denis basilique when one of the owners/employees on his way back on a velib convinced us to eat there. Their plat du jour was all couscous but they had a ton of norther african food that was foreign to me and delicious. We tried one farcie galette for 1EUR and 1 mhadjeb for 2.50EUR, both with minced meat. The galette was a bit sweet on the crust and salty in the middle, and wasn’t our thing, but the heated burek was so good we bought a second. The service was fantastic as the guys are super friendly. If i’m ever in this neighbourhood again(the chances are low) i’d likely drop by!
