This review is solely based on their customer service. I was shopping and wanted to try on clothing. I had about 12 in my hands. The lady at the fitting room said there is a 6 item limit, which I said ok. I asked her if she can put the clothes aside so when I’m done trying on the first 6 I can try on the rest. In an annoyed tone, she said no and deliberately put the clothes on the go back rack. In turn another girl came to return all the clothes on the sales floor. So I asked her is there a 6 item buying limit. She said no I’d have to go back. So she expected me to go around the store and find all the clothes I already collected, again! It seemed almost discrimatory as I am on Asian descent and my French is minimal. I was absolutely offended and didn’t have the desire to search for all the clothes I originally found. At this point I decided to pay and told the cashier what happened. The cashier apologized and said the lady did not speak English well and during the sale they can’t put clothes aside. I didn’t want her to hold it for a day, only for a few minutes! What’s sad is this same cashier was there during this exchange I was having with her colleague and didn’t bother to help. I didn’t come in speaking to them in English, I tried to speak some French, if that was the issue. I don’t expect to be served hand and foot. I just expect polite customer service in any Zara store I enter, regardless of which country it is in.
