Cappuccino costs 5,60 €, but is nothing special. Fresh pressed orange juice is 5,80. Croissant OK, but everything WAY overpriced!

This place is very good. A variety of sandwiches and pastries to choose from. Their prices vary from takeout to sit in. I had what appeared to be a Black Forest Chocolate Cake that was probably the best I’ve ever had and a Raspberry filled Baguette(Not sure if that’s spelt correctly.

We stopped in for our baguette fix and were not disappointed as they were still warm and steaming from the oven! Can’t even find a crumb… I think my husband even hoovered them up! We didn’t try anything else, but they have a lot of HUGE colorful meringues and bags of them everywhere. A few pastries, and some chocolates. I think the bread might be the high spot here. :)

This bread and pastry shop(and mini café) was right near where we were staying in Paris, so we thought we’d give it a try. The pastries looked ok, but, as with most stuff in the Latin Quarter(most touristy) the quality seems to be going downhill since the tourists don’t know better. We ordered a pan raisin and pan chocolate/banana with a hot chocolate to go, and the hot chocolate was made from a powder mix, and the pan raisin was flat and uninteresting. Not horrible, but not great– undercooked brioche dough and the custard had little flavor. Similarly, the pan chocolate/banana was interesting, but just skimped on the chocolate. Not worth going back, but we did see a few locals in there along with a large group of Germans ordering 4 hot dog sandwiches(warmed in microwaves!) and a different group of tourists who left because didn’t want to endure the wait to get to the counter.

Fantastic Food for take away. Never order drinks to your table. If you make the mistake, dont be surprised that Coke costs 5,60EUR a tin.
