The food was good, nothing outstanding or anything but IMO it was worth the price. I got the escargot and the hamburger. Service was decent. I felt like my waiter had an attitude with me but then I saw him serve the people in front of me and give them the same treatment. I would say this is definitely a great place for drinks but there are better food options in the area for the same price if not cheaper; even the staff at my hotel said the same thing. There are a lot of restaurants in the area that you can get better food at for the same price. But overall, my experience was good.

Here for new years eve dinner, staff were polite, spoke great english. I had the duck breast and it was great! My partner had the pizza and while we both enjoyed it, it is nothing to call home about! Early 1920s style, and pleasantly hipster… would recommend you check it out!

Mit dem Begriff Pigalle konnte ich nur etwas anfangen, weil ich mal einen Schlager mit den Worten Pigalle, Pigalle, das ist die grosse Mausefalle mitten in Paris gehoert habe. Man kann dort auch nicht bei McDonalds auf die Toilette gehen. Von der Gruenanlage sah ich wie sich eine Empfangs– oder Animerdame mit einem mittelalterlichen Typ in Camouflagehosen unterhielt. Das koennte ebensogut ein Gast oder der Rausschmeisser sein. Trotzdem laufen in diesem unromantischen Milieu Frauen und Kinder herum.

Pas d’excuse je n’aurais jamais du aller dans ce lieu hyper touristique de l’extérieur on voit a quoi l’on peut s’attendre. Le lieu est assez vaste et le service sympa. Le reste est affreux: cuisine sous vide et pizza trop cuite, facturées à prix prohibitifs pour ce qui reste une cantine qui se la joue branchouille. Clientèle de touristes et banlieue.

My family and I stumbled onto this restaurant right as we were about to enter the Metro and heard a grumble in our stomachs. The location is super convenient for those of us tourists who’ve exhausted our legs for the day. The interior of the place resembles an old library or study room and is very well done! Wandering in you’re hit with the smell of faint perfume and smoke. As you eye the old leather chairs propped up against the shelves of books, trinkets, and maps, you realize there’s a black and white cat purring against your leg. Don’t fret, he’s a resident. Making your way through the divided bar into the other room modeled after an outdoor/indoor garden, you realize there’s a human-sized birdcage… with real canaries. Does the man of my dreams live here? Nah, he’s probably down at the Moulin Rouge. To be fair, the food was average and nothing stood out as particularly amazing. We ordered the Cesar Salad, Ribeye Steak, and Beef Steak a la Plancha. They were all aiite. Would I come back? Possibly for drinks or coffee. Would I return with guests who know nothing of French cuisine and are looking for a quick meal in a great setting? Definitely.

J’adore la terrasse de ce café parisien: quartier populaire, folie parisienne, bruit de la route, mélange des genres, le tout dans la bonne humeur ! Compter quand même 2,80 € le café et 3 € la noisette ! C’est cher, l’emplacement se paie mais le service est soigné, verre d’eau, sucrier et petit pichet d’eau ! A l’intérieur, vous serez comme dans une ancienne bibliothèque avec des sièges en cuir et des bouquins partout en libre service, lumière tamisée. Je n’y ai jamais mangé en revanche.
