The wife and I bought tickets through Viator for a Paris food walking tour through the Latin Quarter on a Friday morning. Our final food stop on our tour was Pierre Champion, a small gourmet food shop with some limited seating along the windows selling foie gras and specialties from southwest France. The shop sold both duck and goose foie gras whole and prepared into all of its various forms such as mousse and pâté. We sampled a foie gras torchon and a liver terrine with a bottle of Sauterne.(I learned that a sweet white wine like a Sauterne goes extremely well with rich foods like foie gras.) Pierre Champion’s foie gras and other specialty foods were quite delicious and reasonably priced compared to what can be found in the U.S. Does it make me a bad person for enjoying foie gras so much?

Accueil chaleureux et produits de qualité ! Un accueil vraiment chaleureux, une clientèle de quartier mais pas seulement… je me déplace du 92 pour acheter mon foie gras chez eux. J’y ai toujours reçu de bons conseils et parfois mm quelques recettes de Bernard, un passionné qui aime les produits qu’il propose. Alors vraiment, n’hésitez plus ! Et foncez… en plus il y a souvent de promos, ce qui permet de se faire plaisir de temps en temps.
