My friends and I were looking for a delicious place to eat near the Eiffel Tower. We originally headed to Philippe et Jean-Pierre, but it wasn’t the vibe we were looking for(expensive and an older crowd), so we walked down the street and saw Hang Chow. We’re so glad that we did! The service was warm and attentive and the food was authentic and extremely flavorful. We ordered the five spice squid(saucy, with bell peppers and bamboo shoots), roast duck(on a bed of bean sprouts), and the tofu with beef(just… yums!). The bottle of Bordeaux complemented the spicy flavors of everything we ate. Our waiter refilled our water and wine glasses throughout our meal. There’s indoor and outdoor seating, of course, and they did a good job attending to both areas. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a delicious, warm, satisfying, and affordable meal near the Eiffel Tower and Palais de Tokyo.
