There is a Italian proverb that says «conosco i miei polli.»
Literally this means, I know my chicken.
What it really means? I know what I’m talking about.
After going to Paisano to buy Italian food for a dinner I was making, I gotta tell you… I gave this place 5 stars because… I know my chicken!
Fresh Italian ingredients? Wonderful customer service? Specialties you cant find anywhere else in Paris? Yes please! Walking to work, I found this charming corner store with a line of customers almost out the door. Intrigued, I just had to go in. Thankfully I did. At Paisano, you can buy all the foods and ingredients you need to make great Italian food right at home. They have an array of Italian pastas, cheeses, sauces, meats, drinks, sweets, and pre-​prepared pizzas that you can cook at home. The service here is outstanding (I had a question about pizza dough and the owner spent a good 15 mins with me to explain the process and how to make some at home).
I highly recommend this place to buy high quality Italian food. It’s a wonderful addition to the 11eme!
