Note: They do speak enough English, but I like to think it helped that I speak French. This café is near the hub for L’Open Tour buses, so we ate here before switching lines. It was a dreary rainy day, and I was feeling a little bit under the weather, so I ate pretty simply. I ordered a hot chocolate, to warm me up, and then I just had a chicken soup and a plain margherita pizza.(Not very French, I know.) My food was pretty plain and ordinary, but it warmed me up and satisfied my belly, so thank you for that! The rest of my family ordered off the prix fixe menu. I distinctly remember escargots being on the table, because I had to learn how to use the tools to eat the snails. Our server was very kind in teaching us how to use those, as we were pretty confused and typically just fish out the snail meat with a toothpick or something. Also, these were DELICIOUS. I think the pricing here was pretty good considering there are SO many tourists in this part of Paris, and the staff was very kind to me. Plus the food was pretty delicious!

We had one Margarita pizza and split it between two kids and one adult. This was a perfect midafternoon snack. Great tasting pizza and very nice wait staff — who were very nice with the kids.

Very friendly service even thought I could not speak a lick of French. I also enjoyed the food and you can’t beat the location.

This is a nice little café in a busy, touristy area. My friend had their plat du jour, which was completely delectable. I had a salad composee, and boy was I impressed that my salad came out with FIVE big slices of warm goat cheese on bread slices. I have never had a café or restaurant be that generous. I am lucky if I have three. There isn’t a formule for mid-day, but that is to be expected in a touristy/shopping area. That being said, their prices per plat were pretty comparable to other cafes around Paris. Not a bad place to eat if you get caught hungry while shopping in the opera district…
