Accueil super sympa.

Unilocal comes to the rescue. Was craving some Viet food in Paris and found this spot. Soo glad we went for this place! This area is called Belleville with lots of Vietnamese restaurants. Lien Hung is one of the smaller ones, and older looking… but it’s GOOD. Best Bo Bun(€ 7.50) I’ve had in a LONG time. I’m from CA so Vietnamese food is plenty and they are good at making it and London’s Viet food options are horrible, so I can appreciate when I get good Vietnamese food. The Bo Bun veggies were fresh and not oily. In London they stir fry the veggies and noodles together making it oily and heavy, I hate that! But here, it was fresh tasting and SOGOOD. Loved it and such a relief they made it this way. Also was served with the skinnier round noodles which I’m used to… not the flat thick noodles. Ordered the Beef Phở(€ 7.80) as well. Was with the thicker flat noodles, but it was still good. Broth was good and good size. The summer rolls were perfect. It was a good size and ratio of the noodles, shrimp, pork, and veggies was good. Thought it was a little overpriced, however(€ 5.20). It was family run, it seemed, and the older gentleman serving the tables was so nice and friendly. It was a nice welcoming feel inside. Overall, when I’m ever back in Paris, I will frequent this spot.

Needed a break from the heavier cuisine and was looking for a phở option in Paris. It was very good, service was attentive and food was fantastic(especially the soft paper rolls). Lien Hung is in Belleville so it’s a train ride but well worth it.

Soup=good. Seating=cramped. Service=helpful and kind. I’d probably go back, but I did date my horrible ex for 4 years, so perhaps I’m not the best judge of character… All and all not a waste of time or money.

If you are looking for phở and Vietnamese dishes, this is the place to go. It’s located in the heart of one of the Chinatowns in Paris and a short walk from the Belleville metro stop. The phở was authentic and delicious and the broth was full of flavor! The pork and vegetables wrapped in steamed soft rice paper appetizer was delicious as well. I would definitely come back. The owners are able to speak Vietnamese, Chinese, French, and English.
