Every aspect of this small, welcoming restaurant is designed with the greatest sensitivity to food, service, design, and general ambiance. The menu is limited to several items, all of which are excellently prepared and presented, with attention to the freshest, mostly, organic, ingredients. The cod and steak were excellent, and the asperges crème(soup) delightful. The wine list is small but well-thought out, for both quality and cost. Our server was friendly and welcoming. The environment is exceptional… subdued, with unique art and atmospheric lighting. The owners were all onsite, and we had a truly warm conversation. We will definitely return on our next trip to Paris!

The design of this restaurant is what drew me in. The warm colors intense but pleasing sculpture works throughout the room with every detail thought of. Table top design that puts most designers to shame. When I inquired who the used I wasn’t surprised when they shared one of the owners was and artist. Magnificent! The server was a doll and very helpful especially when I realized she spoke English… sweet. I enjoyed chickpea purée, octopus, squid Swiss chard, Marlin, steak, mash potatoes, carrots, turnips side of salad. I know I wrote this kinda strange but everything was good. Now I must say the way the food was composed on the plate was stellar. Now was the food in and of itself 5 start? Unfortunately not more 3.5, the experience was though. With a small local restaurant I really thank it’s a bit important for the Chef to make a statement other than create pretty food. Come out of the kitchen and meet everyone have a glass of wine and share your inspiration for your dishes. I would come back to hear a story and revel in your love for food.

We came here for a Valentine’s Day dinner and I had to make my first Unilocal post about here. It was a little difficult to find in the rain but when you walk in it’s a warm, cozy and friendly environment. Everything about the experience was incredible from the ambiance, staff and most importantly food and wine. We started with an egg mollet with haddock emulsion and fresh herbs and cream of Jerusalem artichoke soup with bacon. We followed with a fillet of beef with bone marrow and potatoes and wild sea bass with risotto with a saffron emulsion. We finished with the chocolate mousse with saffron, mascarpone, morello cherries and chocolate tiles(we skipped the nuts because my girlfriend is allergic). The only item I did not take to was the bone marrow. That’s nothing to do with the flavours but more a personal taste. We spent a total of four hours at the restaurant and could have spent four more as we felt welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We will most definitely be returning when we make it back to Paris.
