Honestly wasn’t too impressed. This place is only open 2 times a month, a few months out of the year so plan ahead if you want to go. I think the limited time issue upped my expectations. Basically it was a manicured garden that they’ve let gone to seed. I am all for gardens that are something other than the typical over-manicured french style garden, but this just seemed like someone got lazy. There is a small path that winds around so you can see the man-made pond, now covered in pond scum. There aren’t any benches so it really doesn’t have a feel of a place you can linger. I would be curious to come back in a few years to see how things look once nature has taken over a bit more, but for the time being it just feels like a space caught between two worlds and not enough of one or the other.
