Hôtel Eiffel Saint Charles

Tiny room, very nice, comfy bed with great air-​conditioning and great bathroom with tub.

I really liked this hotel. Our room was big enough that we didn’t feel claustrophobic. The bathroom was very nice. Beds were comfortable. We had a closet with a refrigerator and a safe. And everything was very clean. What more could you ask for?
Well, you could ask for exceptional staff — check. Everyone was very nice and extremely helpful. They gave us restaurant recommendations and helped us book a taxi to the airport.
You could also ask for a great location — check. Only a 5 minute walk to the metro. And about a 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. You can see the Eiffel Tower from the entrance to the hotel (though sadly not from our window due to the building across the street). The area is also fairly quiet and not overly touristy, surprisingly. And there was a nice grocery only steps away.
You could ask for yummy, included breakfast — check. While not as many options as some other places I’ve stayed, breakfast was sufficient and tasty.
The only things I wish had been better were the wifi & tv. No MTV? I love watching MTV in foreign countries and hearing new music. And there was one elusive sweet spot in our room for wifi, which was annoying. The wifi signal was excellent in the lobby though so we started stopping there on our way in/​out. And, the room keys were different than I had ever seen before. After having to go back to the lobby to get instructions on how to get in our room, we figured it out and were fine the rest of the trip.
I’d definitely stay here again. Good value and very nice hotel.
