I was so eager to find a nice place to grab a late breakfast/​early lunch near the hotel I was staying (Hyatt Madeleine) and then realised this place was just opposite.
I walked in and found a dizzying array of combo deals, and settled on the bagel + drink+ dessert/​crisps. I badly wanted a latte or cappuccino, so asked for that in my deal at which point I was told they only did espressos.
So I decided to just go for a lonesome bagel (salmon and cream cheese) had just a slither of cream cheese :(
Next time, I would just admit defeat and grab some croissants from the local supermarket! Or, there’s plenty of nice cafes near Madeleine Plaza.
