Excellent food and service! I had the grilled sea bass and the red pepper/rocket salad. Both were outstanding. I also tasted the ravioli and a few other dishes. All were excellent. Don’t pass on dessert.

We loved it here. Best meal we had in Paris. I had the vegetarian pasta and tiramisu. Wine was great, service was great and location was perfect!

Our usual Italian spot on the other end of rue de Grenelle is usually by this time of the year piled with tourists and we didn’t want to go all the way there to check of we can get a spot, so we wandered around the area in search of a decent looking spot. At around 10pm on a thursday night, De Felice was completely void of clientele, which would have been a red flag for us, while the restaurant across the street seemed somewhat busier, but for some reason we went in anyway. It was late and we were tired. The servers were all busy watching the world cup but were nice enough to give us their giant cardboard menu to choose our dinner from. We each got a pasta — penne arrabiata and clam linguine. The penne was good and spicy and the clam linguine was phenomenal. We then ordered a tiramisu for dessert, which was quite decent. Prices overall was reasonable, about 12EUR for the penne and 16EUR for the linguine. I would have given this place 5 stars if they had accepted ticket restaurant. I’m not sure why they don’t(maybe they will do it at lunch?) but it’s a big inconvenience for locals with tickets to use. But if you are a tourist reading this, then I would tell you go for it. The food is really good after all.

My wife and I found Di Felice 4 years ago when we were in Paris and were very happy to find them this May when we visited again for a month. It is a most delightful restaurant with excellent food and service. I honestly don’t remember how many times we ate lunch there this trip but every time was wonderful. We would plan our day in Paris around where we would be eating lunch and would find the Metro route to our daily destination and plan how to get back to Ecole Militaire to have lunch. I told the owner that it was the best Italian food we had eaten in Paris! I took some photos of a couple of appetizers and wish I could find a way to add them here. Beautiful presentations. Do visit them. While we only had lunch, I can only assume that the dinners are equally as wonderful. Bill and Pam Gordon Denver, CO
