We ate here yesterday, it was a cold, rainy day so it was nice to get into this warm and cozy place. We had hummus and their version of baba ghanouj for appetizers and then Tajine of chicken with almonds and prunes for main course. The baba ghanouj was really delicious, maybe the best I have ever had. The hummus was very good but not fantastic, a little too grainy. The pita bread was cold and a little stale unfortunately. The tajine was delicious, no complaints and a very good portion. I also had mint tea. They had a big dessert menu but when my partner tried to order dessert, they were out of everything except for a dish of Moroccan pastries so he ordered that. What he received was a small plate of 5, tiny, commercial cookies, definitely from a grocery store and they were nothing special for the 6. EU that they cost. I would go back but skip dessert and maybe ask to heat the pita up. Service was great too, by the way, very friendly and helpful waiter who spoke English.

We had a very nice dinner in this quiet restaurant located near the Louvre. My husband had a vegetable tagine that he said was 5 stars delicious. I had a chicken couscous that came with a wonderful soupy broth/sauce that was loaded with vegetables. Very tasty. The only reason I am giving this restaurant 4 stars instead of 5 is that the couscous was a bit dry; however the broth helped that situation. Our server was very friendly and helpful, especially with my husband’s need for a completely vegetarian meal. The décor is authentic and has low lighting so you can relax and feel comfortable while you enjoy your meal. All in all it was a very enjoyable evening. I would return to this restaurant again the next time I go to Paris.

This small restaurant is in the middle of a tiny street, next door to a random Christian Louboutin boutique, but it’s definitely worth seeking out. The hummus is delicious and artistically presented. The couscous is fluffy and lighter than air. The accompanying chicken and vegetables in broth are perfect. My husband had the duck tagine, which was delicious. They also have a respectable wine list, including several Lebanese wine options from Clos St. Thomas. We tried the red blend, and it was quite good. For dessert we had a selection of North African pastries. You simply cannot go wrong with phyllo dough, honey, and crushed nuts. They have a couple tables outside, but the ambience inside is delightful, with lots of Moroccan décor on the walls. Highly recommend this place!
