This was the best meal we had in Paris! The atmosphere was wonderful, food delicious and dessert a highlight. Highly recommended!

Fantastic restaurant! This is a restaurant that everyone can enjoy. We were there several times during our visit and they outperformed our expectations every night. They have a meny where you an choose from the entire«carte». This is an excellent system since you then do not have to order the same. Also all(almost) wines can be ordered by glas making it possible to botanize. The music was very entertaining and the staff treated us excellent. I will go to Paris many more times and I will visit this restaurant again. I now have three favourites in Paris.

Great restaurant for dinner that our hotel recommended, the staff is very personal and the food and wine list quite good and reasonably priced, especially for Paris. We’ve been here twice and had a variety of dishes, and never been disappointed. Try the oysters, which are driven from Normandy beach every Thursday and shucked, all by the«old man of the sea» who stands outside with his table of fresh seafood on ice. We were surprised on our last visit by a 3 part act — first classical piano like we’ve never heard, then singing, then a piano opera, all by different performers. It added a nice bit of entertainment to our meal and for us, cemented this place as a MUSTTRY if you are in the area! If I had to pick something bad to say, it is that we did not care for the complimentary shot of almond(?) liquor they provided as an apéritif after our meal. Be assured, the appetizers, wine, entrée, and dessert will not disappoint!

Dommage.

I live in Paris and came here while my parents were visiting. Extremely overpriced for the quality and quantity of the food. The service started out nice but things slowly went down hill. We had our appetizers and waited 1 hour for our dinner to arrive. They had obviously forgotten about us as the place was basically empty, and our server never once came to let us know what was happening, even though he had been very attentive during our appetizers and drinks. When it arrived it was just disappointing. I would describe this as a place trying to get away with the tiny yet high priced menu items, but just can’t. We decided to skip the dessert as we were already disappointed with our dinner and the amount of time it took for the food to arrive. When we got up to pay at the bar, the credit card machine wasn’t working and they asked us to walk to the ATM around the corner to pull out money ourselves, or to wait at the bar and have another drink until the machine starting working. This is when I basically lost it. There are so many incredible restaurants in Paris, this would not be one that I would recommend.

One of my favorite neighborhood bistros in Paris. It has a wonderful, warm feel and there is excellent live music most nights. The staff has always been courteous and welcoming and speak good English, and the food is excellent. 45 euro for 3 courses(dinner).

Our hotel recommended this place and I was a little skeptical at first. Although, when I walked in, I felt that it was going to be great… and it was. The salmon was life changing! Drenched in a butter cream sauce but so light and decadent. I wanted to have another piece just because it melts in your mouth so nicely. Live music was an added bonus! Definitely recommend you try this place: great ambiance, staff, entertainment and food!

Thank you Unilocal reviewers. With your help we found this restaurant as we were looking for a French bistro and did not want to take our chances. We had a lovely meal — beef filet was tender and juicy and the chocolate mousse was excellent. Our waitress was terrific and friendly. There was a guitarist in the lovely interior of the restaurant. Great find!

It was really just lovely. The fish was delicate and well flavored. The wine was well paired. The dessert, again, was delicate and complex. The staff was friendly and fun and spot on. A fine meal in a welcoming environment.

Very quaint wine and Jazz bar with the friendliest service. Food is very good, wine list has plenty of options with some exceptional items, and the service is as good as it gets for a Paris bistro. Open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week(pretty much non-stop) with music from Thursday to Sunday evenings(ask to sit downstairs). When the weather gets nice, they put a few tables outside but note that the street is quite busy. In summary, a special place in Paris for a meal. Worth the visit!

Can’t say enough good things about this place, there forever, but now under new ownership. Delicious food, great location — love the hosts. Patrick, a former Tower Records exec in the states, took over about 5 months ago, installing his talented son as chef. Food is classic, yet creative. Fresh ingredients, a continually expanding wine list, indoor and outdoor seating. The basement level will soon be a late night music joint — reviving its history as a cutting edge jazz and more hotspot that it was in the 60s and 70s. Prices good, location great, bilingual staff, even private dining room available for events. I went twice in one week! Close enough to Notre Dame or Saint Michel, but out of the congested tourist areas. Can’t wait to go back…

Delightful meal, we walked in, they found a place for us in their very busy restaurant. Loved the duck, my wife loved the salmon, delicious ham appetizer. Very friendly staff.
