The hotel is a little dated and the age shows but it is well kept and clean. Service was no problem and our room was quite spacious.

It’s definitely a 3 star hotel but the staff and location gets a friendly A+. I booked a hotwire deal because we arrived in Nice late at night and were only staying for the night. The rate was great and it was fine for a one night stay. I wouldn’t recommend if you are the type of person that wants a 4 or 5 star luxury hotel. It’s basic and clean. They have a lounge and a small restaurant. It looks like a lot of tour buses stay here as a large group arrived when we were departing.

This hotel is conveniently located and if searching online can find good rates. However, there was NO safe. They had misplaced the key. Also, left a note for do not disturb at lunch. Returned to find room cleaned. Hotel explained visitors get annoyed if the room isn’t done up??? Ok. then what is the point of a do not disturb. Hotel was clean and staff were nice but it missed too many items to put it at a 4 star for the price and promises on the website fell short. Also, right by hospital so be prepared for ambulances passing. Skip the breakfast. The mcdonalds around the corner is truly a small café with espresso machine and pastries for less than 4 euro. Also be aware that on check out you will pay an additional city tax which is not included in the price online. Believe it was less than 10 euros for 2 nights but still annoying trying to pay a bill at 7 am for a surprise charge!

Superb location! Sarah has written a good review :) we were quite happy here yet i was quite extremely stressed that we could not get on Internet for 7 days we stayed here! I picked this hotel based on a location, indoor spa/pool(thought it was too cold for outdoor pool, but it wasn’t, it was still summer in nice :), and free wifi! They tried to tell us that iPad/iPhone don’t connect well there but we had 4 devices and none of them worked! I didn’t go to France to be on an Internet but wanted to be on for little bit in the AM and little before the bed! My friend had to be on it for daily for work emails and he had to go to the McDonalds use the wifi! Quite ridiculous!!! I have quite mixed emotional feelings for this hotel, liked it a lot hated as well… If you don’t care about the Internet ths hotel is almost superb. The AC is cool yet it couldn’t get the room stay cool, was a bit warm… As Sarah mentioned…

Being my first time to France and having a relatively limited experience outside of the United States, this was a great hotel. It is definitely not a 4-star hotel in the US, but definitely, it was a 4-star in France(and a 5-star in south america). It was clean, safe and in a great location(close to the local train, metro train and busses, and essentially walkable to all places within Nice). I did not try the breakfast/food there, as I wanted to explore the local delights, but again, it was in a great location. It was clean, all of my items were in place when I returned from the day(I did leave one euro each day on the desk…) and I appreciated the bottles of water left for me. The granite in the bathroom was genuine, somewhat finished granite. One thing to keep in mind, the A/C was your typical European A/C. It was on, but it wasn’t enough to keep it US «cool.» The French doors outside were nice but overlooked the neighbors drying laundry. :) Again, I wasn’t there to spend time in the hotel. I slept well, was close to places I wished to visit, it was safe and the front desk was polite to me, even when I didn’t start with horrendously broken French. :)
