The owners to the little restaurant called Bamboo House — Richard Ling and Olga are two magicians that create beautiful masterpieces with anything that is fresh for the day. No frozen stuff here!!! Richard is really fun and cares about the food they serve, because he loves his job with his whole heart. He’s constantly smiling and talking as he’s bringing us a new of food. Richard brought us the whole fish and showed everybody what we were going to eat for main. And this I only seen on rare occasions, very rare in fact. The owner showing you what he’s serving is pure love and you know it’s fresh. They don’t have a menu, instead they compose a menu based on what’s fresh today. When other restaurants keep the same menu for six month, Bamboo House change constantly. And I think this is key to why they seems so happy both of them. Because they can release their creativity and making new amazing food every day. We had the pleasure to try his fried calamaris with sea salt, alga, coriander and other fresh herbs I think. I’ve never had something like this before. Usually it’s chewy and hard in random places and I never loved calamaris until today. They are using some interesting ingredients like seaweed, algae and a Japanese fruit called yuzu which reminds me of citrus/mandarin that they have in their sauce. If you are lucky to book a table, take your time to really enjoy this amazing food. Because this is what life is about amazing food. Thank you for having us!!!

A little breath of fresh air. Fresh wild Mediterranean fish well prepared by Richard and Olga, interesting, tasteful entrees and uniques desserts. We are always anxious to get to Canet– Plage to visit this place. Enjoy.
