Food is quite basic; but tastes good and the portions are big, so you won’t leave the restaurant hungry. This a generic Chinese restaurant, cosy and comfortable but maybe not worth traveling far for — ideal for us living just around the corner. Quite often there are busloads of Chinese tourists visiting the place, which usually is a very good sign. A while back they also introduced Sushi on their menu — an odd move for a Chinese restaurant, but so far I haven’t had chance to try that since apparently the Sushi chef is not working as late as the rest of the crew. Take away is currently priced at –20% which makes it a pretty good deal when you just don’t feel like cooking at home.

This is my local Chinese joint. Roughly speaking, it’s divided into a bar side and a dining side. They have some take away specials if you don’t feel like staying. On this dine-in visit I had the«four portion special» — a beef dish, chicken curry, fried shrimp, and some type of fried chicken(think fancy chicken nuggets). I also had a bottled Tsingtao lager. The food was OK, but nothing to write home about. This is pretty average Chinese food with equally average prices. I will say the servers are friendly and prompt.
