Helsinki has a number of Nepalese restaurants one could recommend, but this is perhaps the most centrally located and during summer time, the outside area by the pavement is very nice.
These restaurants often have their own distinct atmosphere — fairly dark and almost from a different time, but the food is lovely and service is very friendly and fast. Very nice casual eating place with great Dhal.

Mount everest has mostly indian style food. The atmosphere is a bit old fashioned. Service is good and fast. The food itself
Is pretty good, however not really exciting. Fast service though. Fine restaurant to eat, however don’t expect anything you haven’t eaten before or extremely exciting.

Yes, I’ve been to Mount Everest! No, not the mountain, the restaurant!
I always enjoy the food on visits here. That said, my visits have always been for dinner. The restaurant has a very cozy feel to it. The walls are decorated with some very nice paintings.
The food is always very fresh and extremely flavorful with a decent level of spiciness. Each meal is accompanied with some of the best naan I’ve ever had. The wait for food has never been longer than 12 – 15 minutes. The meal portion is sized just right, I leaving feeling full but not stuffed! The service is always great here. Once seated I always have ample time to review the menu without feeling rushed.
As noted in many reviews, the bill can be paid at the counter. On my visits the server has always been generous enough to allow me to pay at my table (via credit card).
If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend checking out Mount Everest!!!
