Made it here on Saturday night half an hour before they closed the kitchen. Morrison’s always comes up if you talk about burgers in Helsinki — rightly so. Beer selection is limited — had a bottled Brooklyn IPA. Two friends with me ordered halloumi salad and a steak. That was a mistake — its a burger place. Halloumi was burned and steak tough(but nicely cooked). I, on the other hand, had the goat cheese burger and it was great. Really hit the spot for a pit stop between pubs. Too big to finish. I’ll be back here — just like all the previous times :)

The burgers here are absolutely fantastic, the service is good and fast and the amount of different food choices is incredible. The downsides are the cheeky décor and the cramped space. Otherwise, the place is fantastic. P. S. Don’t come here if you aren’t hungry. The servings are MASSIVE.

Morrison’s is considered to be one of the best burger places in Helsinki. And already when entering the restaurant you have the feeling of stepping into an American diner. Red color dominates the interior and simple chairs and tables. Morrison’s has a nice wide variety of tasty burgers. Try e.g. their BBQ Bacon Burger or if you are really hungry the King Kong with two 180g burger patties. But there is also something for vegetarians or fish lovers. You can choose one out of seven different side dishes to come with your burger. They also have great lunch offers. Morrison’s has very decent burgers. Their are worth a try and definitely won’t leave you hungry. However they have strong competition in Helsinki and from my point of view you can find even better ones elsewhere(such as Stone’s or also Hard Rock Café).

I can’t really see what the fuss is about, I mean, WHY is there a queue for this place??? I’d rather eat a mac or a hese than the cheeseburger I got here. The meat was dry and the bun was wet, I think the mayo actually was from hese and the side tomatoes were pale orange(I know, Finnish winter, but why bother plating any if they’re raw?) The good thing I can say, is a burger and 12cl of(not so delicious) wine was less than 20 euros which is pretty fair for a dinner out in Helsinki.

Burger and beer, what more could you ask for! It was delicious. Massive portion. My only complaint is that I couldn’t have breakfast the next day as I was still so full. Nice service, got a window seat. Go for the wedges, really crispy and scrumptious.

In my personal opinion Morrisons serves the best burgers in town. They are massive and they have a nice selection of choices. Besides the burgers their stakes are also excellent. The«Aurajuusto stake»(Aurajuusto is the local blue cheese of Finland) is my favourite.

Just a quick question: Has anyone ever left this place hungry? Well, at least not me. I’ve been to this place 5 times so far and left the place [almost] fully satisfied. The food has been really tasty every single time(I’ve tried only burgers so far), but can’t say the same about the service. It seems to be non-existent from time to time. Not that I care that much anyway, but people who are picky or posh should go somewhere else if they want to get proper customer service.
