I purchased a groupon and had a similar experience as another reviewer here. I never made it in the door; I emailed the salon about 3 – 4 times(over the course of 2 months) and received nothing but an automated response about the next available booking being 2 – 3 months away. I got a refund through groupon. Odd experience.

So I don’t want to do this but I have to. First, I cannot comment on the actual technical skill at this salon(which may be very good). I never made it in the door. I had 3 groupons for mani-pedis(2 were purchased by my husband for Mother’s Day, and unknowingly, I purchased one for myself). I called to make an appt, but they ask that you email instead with specific groupon instructions because they have a small salon and don’t really answer the phone. That’s fine. So I did. I received a quick response back that they were booking august appointments but they would put me on the cancellation list(this was end of may). I went on vacation then came back and emailed again in mid-June. It took 7 days to receive a response this time. They said they were booking September and asked what time of day I wanted the appointment. I emailed back my preference. I never heard anything. I GAVEUP. It seemed that by the time I would finally able to use the groupon, it would have been fall(btw, these groupons expired in November). Not very useful for a mani-pedi. I contacted groupon, explained the situation, and they refunded my money for all 3 groupons. Honestly, I’ve never had such an issue with a groupon, or even contacting a company for that matter. I understand that’s its a small salon but if you are too small to properly handle groupon traffic then you probably shouldn’t be running them. It puts a bad taste in people’s mouths… especially someone local. I did notice that there was similar review by someone on that had a very similar experience so I know I’m not the only one. My one star review is not a reflection of the salon’s technical skill, but merely their customer service in relation to a groupon.
