Ballerinas and Bruisers

What a cool store in downtown Zionsville. I was having trouble finding a cool outfit for my 8 year old daughter for Christmas. After looking just about everywhere for a girl with a unique style, I finally found what I was after at Ballerinas and Bruisers.
My wife hates shopping which is both a blessing and a curse. I’ve had to assume the role of fashion acquisition director. I know just neigh to be dangerous and without help definitely strike out more than I knock it out of the park.
I was very impressed by the owner Steve’s knowledge of the different product lines and how different things would fit different body types.
I also found some pretty sweet duds for my 3yr old boy who’s probably going to be a preschool pimp now :-)
And to top it off there were a couple hilarious books for my wife about the endless joys of being a mom that will keep her laughing and probably stop her from hitting the bottle for breakfast.
Totally kidding about the bottle but the books do look to be a good therapeutic read :-)

Knew the owner when he had his business in New York! My husband and I are such fans that we have been dressing our daughter since she was born from Ballerinas and Bruisers. She is 6 years old now!!!
I would rather send money to this «jewel of a store in Indiana» and have Steve send me his picks rather than waste my time shopping stores in New York where everything looks the same or is priced over the moon!!! Steve takes the time to know each customer and pick out things that will fit their lifestyle.

This store just makes you smile. Unique clothing for boys, girls and even pet items upstairs. The owner is personable, very helpful and finds the most adorable clothing for our little ones. Cutest boys outfit Saturday! Oh, if my boys weren’t 34. Many spring and summer items have arrived.

Love this store! Very unique clothing for kids that you wont find anywhere else. The owner is from NYC so he has some great taste and brings the East Coast style to Zionsville/​Central Indy! You won’t be disappointed. The owner also runs the store so you get the chance to interact with him directly. Very pleasant, very helpful.
