I can only review based on my apartment which had carpet and faced sheridan road. I have noticed that other apartments have laminate flooring throughout but the unit I rented did not. The apartment was filthy and gross upon move in which included splats of human blood on the walls, cat and human hair on the floors, oven broiler door and knobs. The bathroom was nasty and all the walls and baseboards had scuff marks throughout. The carpet was stained and had a flea infestation. Which was up to me to take care of w/o using flea bombs. Tip: Borox and flea killer carpet powder works awesome. I also used a flea killer spray and went around the baseboards. There is a no pet policy however 3 of my neighbors on my floor had cats and someone on a different floor had a dog. Also, no loud noises, music and robust spices are allowed as well but never enforced. The building and hallways smelled like cig smoke, rotting food, and dead rodents. Eww. If you get locked out of your apartment you’re on your own. It has happened to me and a few other tenants. Sad but true. lol The noise level in the apartments facing sheridan is high and gets worse in the summer. The windows are paper thin and drafty. This will cost you a pretty penny in the winter time. The bathroom exhaust fan will draw cig smoke from the neighbors and that’s about its only function. It only sucks if you have allergies and get headaches from the smell. The water takes about 20mns to get to warm and if someone in the building flushes or takes a shower at the same time be prepared to get a 1st degree burn or freeze. There is no balance when showering. I suggest taking one super late at night. If you are desperate and need immediate shelter than by all means check this place out. However, if you have money keep your options open.
