Village Inn

The experience I had at this Resturant is probably the worst I have ever had. Not only was the service almost non existent but the following really happened. When the waiter brought my food I noticed encrusted food around the edges. I felt the plate and there was dried food under and on the plate. I showed it to the waiter and he promptly took it to the back only to return immediately with the food. I asked him how they prepared another meal so quickly and was told «oh, they just took the food off the dirty plate and put it on a clean plate «. I am still not over that. They took the meal off the bill but a manager never approached me. I am still trying to contact their corporate office. Or better still the health department.

Yikes… their prices are going through the roof. Hubby n I had a burger n sandwich both drank water n bill was over $ 18.00 then add in tip, OUCH!!! Food still good but, both of us can eat at Texas Roadhouse for that money.

I have been going to this Village Inn for years and it only gets better as time goes on. I rate this the number one restaurant in Zephyrhills. Their Pies and meals are cooked to your pleasure and very reasonable for what you get. Best Pies around.

Most UNFRIENDLY place to eat in entire area.
Kate the manager was very rude and loud mouthed.
I had a cold diet coke in my hand when I gave our name to wait. My husband and I waited more than 25 minutes to get a table, although it wasn’t packed.
Then when Kate walked us thru the place, to the back,
She loudly informed me that I couldn’t have a can of coke and stick out her hand. Lol like I should hand it over. My husband told her we would also buy drinks with our food. She loudly proclaimed No Outside Drinks!!!
We decided to leave. She kept it up all the way to the door. Very embarrassing situation. Very loud mouth rude woman!!! Never will we eat any Zvillsge Inn again because of this negative experience !!!

Wednesdays are free pie so expect a wait. Waiting wasn’t the problem. There were 4 of us in our party. 2 ordered chicken fried steak. A good 20 minutes after we ordered they tell us they ran out of gravy for the chicken fried steak so we changed our orders which meant waiting longer for our food. One of us changed the other did not. When the food came I had french fries with my chicken fried steak and not the mashed potatoes I ordered but at this point wasn’t bringing it up because they already seemed overwhelmed. The piece as good and the food was decent. Just down here visiting family so pretty sure I won’t be back again to eat at this location.

When you first walk in you want to walk right back out. It smells like mildew. Not sure if the carpet was ever cleaned. This place needs a over haul.

Disappointed. Thought this was going to be as good as the location over in Land O Lakes. From beginning to end just blech! Will not be back.

Wow, this place is packed to the packed on Sundays. I do like Village Inn. It’s not so fancy at all, but they have so many breakfast options, so yes I do enjoy them very much.

Okay… ummmmmm…wellll…just meh… I will be back… but will not be blazing a trail to get there.
